The bot makes the process of trading automated. Does this imply that once it has been switched on it does not require any further instructions?

The bot is designed to place entry orders, stop loss orders and exit/square off orders. However, one needs to login to his/her account and switch on the bot everyday in the morning preferably between 08.00am - 09.00am. Apart from this no instructions or monitoring is required.

What if the bot is not started before 09.00 am? Can a user start it later during the trading session?

Even if the bot has not been started before 09.00am, it can be switched on during the day. However, it someone switches on the bot after the trade has been fired, the trade shall not be placed in his account.

Can the bot be switched off during the trading session?

Certainly. The bot can be switched off during the trading session. If a trade has not be entered in, further trading activity shall be halted for the session. If a trade is in progress, the bot shall not square off the trade. It would have to be done manually. A better option would be to use the disable button given on the bot.

Can I switch on the bot the night before the trading session?

No. A user cannot switch on the bot before 07.00 am in the morning

Will a stop loss be placed for every entry?

Yes, a stop loss order would be placed after entering every trade. It may take a few seconds but shall be fired by the bot right after the order has been filled.

Will the bot run everyday?

No, the bot shall not be active on expiry days.

Can I square off the trade manually?

Yes, you can. After the trade is taken by the bot a user can square off the trade midway. Kindly click the 'square off' button and all existing positions shall be squared off.

Can I take the control of the trade in my hands after the bot has entered into a trade?

Yes. Kindly click on the 'take manual control' button. After that he bot shall be disabled for the day and one can modify orders and exit from the trade as per his decision,

Can a trade get rejected due to any reason?

Yes, it can get rejected at the broker's end, mostly due to insufficient margins in the demat account. Kindly ensure that you have sufficient amount in your demat account for the trade to go through. If an order gets rejected due to other reasons, kindly notify us, and we shall resolve the matter.

I am unable to trade more than 10 lots. Can you increase my limit?

The default upper limit for the bot is set at 10 Bank Nifty option lots. In order to increase this kindly raise a request, and we shall do it on a chargeable basis.

Do I need to make sure that I'm logged into my account the entire day or do I need to switch on my device (mobile or laptop) for the entire day?

No. Once if a user logs into his/her account and switches on the bot, the user does not need to keep the device on.

I'm an active trader. Do I need to open another demat account for deploying the bot?

No. The bot shall not interfere with your trading activities and can be deployed on the same account.

Is there anything else that I need to know or be aware of?
